Arthur Morris is a free-lance nature photographer, writer, and educator specializing in birds. Before turning his talents full-time to photography, he taught elementary school in New York City for twenty-three years. Currently is Vice-president of the Spanish Society of Ornithology and member of the Global Council of BirdLife.

Works mainly in the structure, taxonomy and conservation of birds.

Pedro Ferreira Develey

Biologist, M.Sc and Ph.D. on bird ecology. Director of Conservation for BirdLife/SAVE Brasil where he coordinates the Important Bird Area (IBA) and the Threatened Species Programs. He has worked as a consultant on environmental diagnoses based on bird fauna information in various biomes in Brazil, and published scientific and dissemination papers on national and international magazines, and book chapters on bird ecology and conservation. Pedro is co-author of the Field Guide Birds of the Greater São Paulo (Guia de Campo: Aves da Grande São Paulo) and one of the organizers of the book Áreas Importantes para a Conservação das Aves no Brasil - Parte 1: Estados do Domínio da Mata Atlântica (Important Bird Areas in Brazil – Part 1: States of the Atlantic Forest Domain).

Millard Schisler

Master in Visual Arts from the University of Rochester (USA), Millard was one of those responsible for implementation of digital photography in the curriculum of the School of Photographic Arts and Sciences, RIT, where he taught photography from 1996 to 2004. He was hired by the School of Print Media of RIT to develop the courses in the area of imagery to new media and the flow of work for digital printing and Web. As a photographer, as well as a personal work, photographed for many years in Brazil for organizations such as UNICEF and UNESCO in the documentation of NGOs and social problems. Today working in Brazil as photographer and consultant in the areas of digital imaging, bank of images, collections and digital print.

Degree in Biological Sciences by Universidade Ibirapuera and in Business Administration by Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie. Currently works as project assistant at SAVE Brasil where he develops ornithological surveys, conducting assessments and researches related to Important Bird Area and the Threatened Species Programs. Andre is the moderator of the BirdLife International’s Forum of Globally Threatened Brazilian Birds and one of the organizers of the book “Áreas Importantes para a Conservação das Aves no Brasil - Parte 2: Amazônia, Cerrado e Pantanal”.
